We offer a range of steel doors designed for internal and external use to enable entry and exit to suit any need. Whether it’s a personnel door, security door or emergency exit door, each door is built to order, individually constructed with a choice of hardware, frame, threshold and vision panel options.
We can provide them thermally rated, acoustically rated, fire rated, attack resistant and secured by design approved. Also available with side and over panels and louvre panel design for use on plant room applications.
Fully bespoke, our steel doors can be made to meet your specifications and have superior security features such as astragal and dog bolt hinges plus a low level DDA approved threshold.
Steel Security Door Installation
Our typical door configuration consists of a standard rebated frame assembly made from lightweight, high tensile steel. With an adjustable side expander system that offers 6 adjustable fixing positions.
Door leaves are 45mm thick, comprising of 2 x 1.2mm steel sheets over a 43mm hexatex core. Fitted with a flush lipped astragal for added security.
Comprising of 2 x 1.2mm ‘Rustec’ steel sheets, the leaf is internally bonded with a dutch fold stitch welded system providing greater stability and protection against de-lamination. 42mm thick ‘Hexatex’ core.
Door leaves are hung on CE marked, BS 7352 Grade 13 stainless steel, twin bearing template drilled butt hinges with integral high security dog bolts.
Doors and frames are polyester powder coated to Standard RAL or BS finishes.
